Ok. So after I posted how sad I was about not having a peak this month, I decided to take one more test. It was 2:30 am and I couldn’t sleep so I got up, peed in a cup, and tested both LH and HCG levels cause why not lol. And then there it was! A super dark line on my OPK. It’s CD24 and I’m barely getting my LH surge?! Has anyone else ever had this happen so late in their cycle? I’m wondering if maybe taking the clomid this cycle had something to do with it? I don’t know. I’m so off.

I tested with digital OPKs once a day from CD10-CD15 and the strip OPKs twice a day every day from CD14 to CD20 with no positives or darkening lines. So I gave up. Until the 2:30am test on CD24 (today) where I got the surge. I went out this morning and got more digital OPKs, this time the one with the smiley faces, and tested again at 10am. The strip OPK no longer showed the surge and the digital one showed “low fertility”. (I’ve never used the advanced digital ones before though so maybe THOSE were off bc I started testing too late?)

Now I’m upset bc if I had kept testing, maybe I would’ve seen the surge sooner? My bf and I have been so stressed and since I was so convinced I hadn’t ovulated this month, I stopped trying to get together with him for BD. We did BD yesterday before I got the surge, but the last time before that was last Monday! 😔

I’m gonna keep testing for a few days I guess. REALLY hoping that the makeup sex we had yesterday did the trick!
