What does your diaper stash look like?

I have received conflicting advice on stocking up on diapers.

My sister and a friend said: Don't stack up on too many boxes of diapers. Just a few boxes of newborn and size 1 because the baby will grow fast and you'll end up making a lot of trips to the store to exchange smaller sizes for larger sizes.

My husbands co-workers: you needs to stack up on diapers. You don't have nearly enough.

Current stash includes approximately:
2-88 count newborn diapers
2-200 count size 1 diapers
2-30 count size 1 diapers

What do you ladies think? More or wait?

Diapers are always at the store, no need to go crazy. May be more obnoxious returning than just buying. All babies are different and grow differently. If it's using extra money now then buy gift cards for your favorite place to buy diapers then it won't be such a wallet wiper.

I'm going to be a single mom with no support from the father...so every pay day I've bought a box. I rotate which size I get. If I have a surplus, the yay! I can exchange it for something else. Works for me.

I've never stocked up. You never know if your baby will have sensitivity issues or something else. Why spend the money now when you can pay as you go? Never quite understood the concept. Just my 2 cents.

We have 2 packs of 40 nbs, 3 boxes of 120 size 1, and 3 boxes of 216 size 2s. That's all I plan on buying because we're cloth diapering while at home. If I have to exchange them then I will

We just plan on saving as much money as we can before the baby comes so whatever we don't get we will have the money for and also for things like diapers and such that it will grow out of sooner we can just run to go get it when we need it I really don't want to be stuck with a ton of diapers that don't get used but if it happens I'll just donate them lol

I haven't been stocking up. I'm having a baby showing in a couple weeks though and I'm making it a diaper shower sorta - I have everything I need already, except diapers. So I'm having a raffle where for every pack of wipes or diapers someone brings, they get a raffle ticket, and I will pull tickets at the end and raffle off gift cards! 60+ people were invited, so I'm hoping for a decent turn out

Not stocking up at all. 1. I have no where to keep mass amounts of diaper boxes... my whole apartment is like the size of a large bedroom. 
And 2. You never know how big they are going to be, and what size they will need.

A month before they come, depending what I get at the baby shower, I'm just going to order the monthly box from honest company and have it sent to my house every month. 80$ for diapers and wipes.. can't beat that.

So far all i have is 2 boxes of size 1. 1 pack of nb hospital also gives a pack of nb. Don't think I'll be buying anymore just because they'll always be at the store. But I'll definitely be stocking up on alot of wipes you can never have too many wipes!

I didn't stock up I registered for some but you never know which diapers will work with your baby. Wipes thou I'm stocking up on

I have 2 boxes of size 1, 2 boxes of size two. I'm going to buy a few newborn boxes but I'm going to wait until after my baby shower to see what I receive. I don't see the point of stocking up too much because you never know what the baby will take and I don't want to add unessessarry returns/exchanges. I taped the recipet to the few boxes I do have just in case.

Also, I'll probably start a little diaper savings so when baby is here, the money I saved will be for diapers instead of stocking up
