Who should be the first to say I love you in a relationship?

You know that awkward moment when a guy says "I love you", and you're like "Yeaaaaa....".

And that even more awkward moment when YOU say "I love you", and the guy's like "Uh....... ".

If you feel it, say it. Period.

I said it probably six or seven months in, and got chirping cricket silence afterward. I continued to say it, with no reply or just an "I know" for months. Doesn't bother me. I say what I think/feel and I'm not going to pressure someone into saying something just because I did first.

He told me three months later, right before my birthday. I was a happy girl and it meant more to me to have him wait, cause I knew he absolutely meant it. ?

My man said it first tho I could if quite happily said it few days before hand ? I remember he had that look and I was thinking at time just say it have the moment then let me go pee haha poor guy u didn't wana run to toilet and lose moment either

Whenever you're  sure.  My husband said it first and I told him I can't and won't say it til I know for certain it's how I feel.  I finally said it about a month after him. I don't think it matters who says it first as long as they mean it!
