FTM: what are some of your fav items?

What were some of your "holy grail" baby items and which seemed to collect dust?  I understand that some babies prefer certain items and what might work for some might not work for all so no need to add that in for every response 😂

Didn't even use her swing or her toys till she was 1 year

Baby swing, baby carrier, special timer thing, baby food containers.  Those little bouncy, vibrating chairs are amazing and I guess I'm just not active enough for the baby carrier.  Anywhere I went the baby was just in the infant car seat.  The carrier was just a pain in the ass. Maybe I'll use it this time since I have 2 toddlers already.

We just got a new musical/vibrating bouncer seat b/c our existing one (from 4 years ago) broke. We used the bouncer more than anything else. I attached a pic of the one we just got, pretty afforable. I LOVE the Aden + Anais muslin swaddle blankets. They are a bit pricey, but you can find them on sale sometimes. They are totally worth it, even at full price!! If you're looking at bottles, we love Dr. Browns and the starter kit (about $100, I think) is great! There are more parts to wash with Dr. Browns bottles, but in my opinion, it's worth it.

Rock n play and cool mist humidifier have been awesome. Mittens collected dust... My son learned to self soothe early by letting him touch his hands to his face as soon as we brought him home from the hospital. Of course it means you have to stay on top of clipping nails, but that didn't become a difficult task until 6-8 months 😳
