Advice Help Husband Sick

Ok I need advice please. I was going into work today to help out for Easter my son is two months and I planned to leave him home with dad. My husband of course develops a low grade fever this morning and it's jumping up and down from 99.8 to 100.5. I will really screw work over if I call in. But I should keep my baby and husband separated right? Baby shows no signs of sickness yet.
