Is it wrong to not want to ttc anymore this year? My cousin who I kind of have always been in comparison with since I was younger just found out she's pregnant. She's 20 years old and I'll be 23 next week. She graduates in 2 years from college and I graduate now in may. I'm just so hurt because I always thought I would be the first one to have a baby. Now I'm bummed about it and actually jealous. I'm also jealous cuz they tried for a baby. It wasn't an accident.  I feel like a horrible person. I am trying to be happy for them but honestly I'm just hurt.

You are getting your life on track first by finishing up college first.  Also when you get pregnant yours will be the youngest and get all the new attention.

That's normal. Immediately after I decided to ttc we found out that my Sister and my best friend are pregnant. It's crazy, they got pregnant at the Same time. Same due date & everything. Both of them were UNplanned and I'm the one ttc. Of course I am excited but I find myself getting jealous every now & then. I hate it.

My dh and I are going to take a break from trying. It's just hard to keep getting your hopes up and have them shattered. We want to have fun again and not have our lives revolve around ovulation, periods and Drs appointments. Ttc can become exhausting! I'm sorry you are having a hard time too :( If you do keep trying I hope that baby dust comes your way soon!

I think that's understandable in many ways. She probably wasn't trying to be hurtful, though. I don't know if you two are close, but she probably would like you to be enthused and share this experience. I doubt she would be mad if you conceived during a similar time frame. But I could be wrong, I don't know her. I do think that jealousy in this capacity is very real, and I can understand where you're coming from. Just try not to let it impact your happiness. 💜

I'm sorry. It seems normal to be disappointed when you want something so much and it happens to someone else. We've all been there. Just know that everything happens in its own time.

Why does it matter ??? Just relax and when your baby comes you are going to have your own excitement... You are on the right track finish your school get that out the way because that is very stressful to be in school and take care of a newborn is hard... You want to be able to give it all the attention...
