Money waisting!?

Who like me thinks that a nursery contains anlot of useless stuff?!

So much useless crap. Babies need so little. Humans in general don't need much. My partner and I were homeless after losing our house in a fire and through that experience we learned exactly what we don't need. We are so much happier with this knowledge and peace with life.  Material things are nothing compared to love and support and community. 
Babies need milk (mom), comfort and cuddles (mom), safety (mom), love (mom), warmth (mom) and the ability to become clean after soiling themselves.  All babies really need is their mothers.

With my first son i went all out spent thousands of dollars on too much stuff and a fancy decorated nursery. He decided to be a beaver and chew his crib which will be used for our second son as well as im sure he will do the same, change table was only used for storage and was tossed and replaced with an extra dresser by the time he was 1. Now that we know we are having a second boy we are keeping everything to re use with the second and i literally mean everything. (crib. Clothing. Exercauser. Chair. Swing. Playpen. Carseats. Bassinet. Bottles. Bath chair. Towels. Blankets) my second son is due in 3 weeks and iv spent under $200 on him, just diapers, wipes and a few misc things.

We're are only getting a bassinet, swing, changing pad, and the clothes, lotion, toys, blah blah...   Were will get a crib when he's bigger.. His dresser is his changing table.. Don't need much else...

Lol! Love how you spelt wasting. But yes, I think unless you're spending an awful lot of time in that one room it won't get used as much as you think. Changing table will be useless when baby is too big to fit that little space. Convertible cribs are useful and can convert to a twin size bed. For me, I'm a working mom so baby wouldn't be in the room much other than to sleep and change a diaper.

Plus we have a small house with small bedrooms, don't have room for too much junk!

I added only things I thought he would appreciate in the future. A big boat and a wooden whale that's not babyish at all. In fact they could go anywhere in our hide and look beautiful. This will be his room forever and I will be nursing a lot in it. I wanted to make it comfortable and peaceful. Nothing I bought wasn't on sale or from e bay at the cheepest price. I want to save my money for his first birthday:)
