How will they know?

So at my last appointment they said I probably wouldn't get any more ultrasounds (I'm 29 weeks)

But how will they know when baby flips????

By feel.  Although,  with my last at my midwife tries to tell me my baby was breech. She thought she felt his head, but it was his big booty. Lol. Also, when they listen to the heart rate, if it's low, they are head down or possibly sideways.

Yeah they can feel it. But with my second my doctor wasn't absolutely sure so I got an ultrasound to check.

Years and years of practice. They know what they are feeling when they feel around your stomach. We just assume it's a butt or a head of whatever.

The doctor can usually tell by feeling your belly the position the baby is in. That's how they've always have done it with me.
