Pre diabetes?

I've been somewhat overweight my whole life. I know I need to lose weight so I joined a gym a month or so ago. I've been eating better and avoiding snacks and sweets, as well as working out a few times a week for a few hours a day. I was feeling pretty confident in this new routine and the ten+ pounds I've lost so far. I went to my doctor for a check up and was hoping to hear all these good things. Well...

My thyroid is messed up, and I'm pre diabetic now. I've never had problems with my sugar. It has always been in the 90s, and over 100 is bad.

Anyways, what do I do? I feel so demotivated and devastated. And alone. I can't tell anyone in my family because they'll only criticize me more than they already do...
