One month old baby standing up

I've read that if your newborn tries to stand up u shouldn't allow them to do that bc their legs aren't strong enough & their legs could be messed up or something, but my son always tries to stand up & use his legs to push himself up towards my face. Should I keep sitting him down or letting him do it if he wants ?
