My mind automatically goes to "boy and girl" but that's because it was drilled in me since kindergarten. And for some reason I'm scared to think outside of that box, I feel like from media and other places growing up have the message "other genders are bad WRONG evil!" drilled in me too. But I shake that off and remember that yes there is biological sex but gender is your canvas and you can paint it however you feel it is. I like that, makes me think life is more beautiful and people and their souls and individuality is beautiful. But on another note, I have a hard time accepting transgender people as a completely third gender because I can't get over what their biological sex is. It's like oh "she's a girl, but you know she's really a boy". The other day I was heading towards the bathroom and this boy went in too and I was like woah wait what and I saw his face and "he" was actually a girl (from the feminine characristics that come from bieng born a female) and it made me feel better. Why is that? Why does my mind need to know what someone's true sex is?

Just because you "feel" like girl DON'T make you one and vice versa. You can act like anything you want all day. But boys are boys and girls are girls.
