Periods

Ok ladies I need help. In July 2010 I gave birth to an amazing daughter. At my six week check up I got the mirena put it. After having it for three years I decided to get it removed for two reasons I wanted another baby and it was causing left pelvic pain. When removed it was in the right spot and everything so no problems with that. Well a year went by and no pregnancy yet I went to the Dr and they said I have pcos. I've had no problems until I got the iud but anyways all together its been three years trying for a baby. But that's besides the point. My periods have been hell! It started normal and on tra co after I had it removed then over time it was every two weeks lasting two to three weeks. That's how it's been since I had it removed. Well now I've been on my period for almost two months straight! For two weeks it was how it usually is when my period is stopping and now it's starting to get worse again. Mind you since I had mirena my periods have been super heavy the whole time I'm on it and sometimes painful. Help me ladies how can I make it go away?!!! I don't want to be on bc anymore I'm trying for a baby and I was on metformin for my pcos but I stopped taking it bc it made my periods worse and I was constantly in the bathroom with diarrhea. Literally constantly! Dr wants me on birth control but I refuse that. Me and hubby are getting sexually frustrated as well. We don't mind period sex but since it's so friggin heavy it's way to messy so I usually give him bjs but I'm getting tired of it and so is he. The whole situation is getting old and fustrated. And on top of all that I'm physically and emotional drained! I don't get much sleep and for so long of a period after a while it just drains me and makes me more tired and feeling blah. I think I'm even starting to get depressed bc all of this stuff. Idk any advice or help ladies??? Thanks for listening
