Myself and my unborn son were just the butt of a tastless April fools joke. A male friend who clearly has no sense (but somehow has a master's degree) texted all my female friends and told them that my water broke and we were on our way to the hospital. I'm only 26 weeks. So, so so not funny at all. Don't know in what universe it would be funny. So infuriated.

It has taken everything in me NOT to call him and chew him out.

I didn't know until I started getting texts from all of them saying they were praying for me. I was like "thanks, that's sweet! But why? Like you're praying just because?" One of my friends was crying when I called her and another was making plans to leave work.

Stupid asshole.
