How long do you plan to breastfeed and why?

I'm just curious as I'm not sure what I want to do yet. We've been strictly breastfeeding and he's just about 2 months old.
 I'm thinking 6 months then no more boob but will pump bottles for a couple more months. Honestly the idea of him teething scares me away from wanted to go longer 🙃

I breastfed my first for 19 months and my second for 25 months. #3 is on the way and I plan to nurse for at least 2 years! It's best for baby, helps their immune system and has countless other benefits for mom and baby!

When I was pregnant I told myself I'd go until 6 months, after 6 months I told myself when he turns 12 months...here we are at 17 months & he's still breastfeeding! 💞 I love it though, as long as he wants it I will be there to nurse. Listen to your baby & what they want. That's the most important and remember breastmilk will ALWAYS be nutritional no matter their age.

I'm gunna try for a year. As long as he cant talk I'm okay haha. When they bite you're supposed to scream to scare them to Deter them away from biting!!

The plan is always for a year, because that's when I introduce cows milk. I only made it 6 months with my first and formula is so expensive. Bf 14 mos with my second, and currently 6 mos with my third.

I'd like to go until 6 months but I want to build a frozen stash so I can go beyond that. I mostly pump and bottle feed already so I'm hoping I can breast feed and continue to pump that long. It's a lot of work though!

I at 13 months with my first and only do one feed before bed. I am 14.4 weeks with baby number 2 and I think that was part of
The reason he weaned a lot of the other feeds sooner. He loves to nurse and I love nursing him. My thought was to always nurse until they are ready to be done.

I'm at 8 months of breastfeeding ☺️ my son has almost 6 teeth and he doesn't bite. He not only a few times at the beginning, but I would plug his nose and he'd let go. He learned real fast not to bite. ☺️

They learn quickly not to bite if you're scared of teething. You just pull the boob away from them and tell them no. I plan to breastfeed at LEAST a year, even though it's recommended to do two. I'll go as long as I can!

Still breastfeeding at eight months and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. Maybe three? There are so many unknown factors that could affect that however.
