Negative blood type with pregnancy?

Question

I am not pregnant, nor planning to be anytime in the near future.
But I have found out that I have a negative blood type and that when I do get pregnant I will have to get a certain shot after a certain amount of weeks to make sure my body doesn't fight off the baby if it has a positive blood type.
(All of this may not make sense to you if you don't know about negative blood types and pregnancy lol)
But anyways it makes me scared for my future pregnancies and things that could go wrong!

Anyone on here have a negative blood type and had a healthy baby? I'm just nervous for it even though I'm not trying right now! Haha

My mom is negative. She had 3 babies just fine! No problems and that was over twenty years ago. They just give you a shot and I'm sure you'll see no problems with that because they've pretty much solved that medical issue. 
If you're really worried though you could always refuse to date/marry any man with a positive blood type. 
First question you ask on first date, "what's your blood type?"
"A positive"
"Oh I'm sorry. This isn't going to work out. I only date negatives."

You don't have to worry too much, the first pregnancy is not really an issue. Its subsequent pregnancies. Plus your doctor will know what to do, trust them

My older sister was RH negative and they gave her a ROGHAM shot with her first it was a stillborn and she had a healthy baby then she miscarried a baby then she had my niece (who is a miracle baby).

I'm rhesus negative I've never had a problem you get an anti d injection stings like crap btw!  you have to have an anti d injection if you bump your bump just in case of a bleed and one when you have the baby all of mine have turned out to be my blood type anyway in the end ... I wouldn't consider being negative as a problem nor would I worry yourself about it x

I am a negative, and I have had 1 miscarriage, 1 stillborn (unrelated to blood type) and one healthy baby. It's hard to say, they say usually your first pregnancy is fine, but after the first, you will need a shot halfway through, if you have any fetal testing, and again after you give birth. Otherwise you run the risk of miscarriage. As long as you get the shot, you are fine. Also if your SO is a negative blood type you most likely will not have to get it because the baby would be born negative.

Well, you only *need* Rhogam (the shot) if your partner has a positive blood type. So there's a chance you won't even have to worry about this. (Two people with - blood cannot have a + baby.) I am -, DH is +, so I have to get Rhogam but they've told me it's nothing to worry about. It seems scary at first but all you need is your shot of Rhogam and you won't have any problems.

Rehsus negative blood. You have to get Anti D jag if u have any bleeding during pregnancy and once baby is born. Shouldn't cause any problems for future pregnancy as long as u get anti D.
