Pregnant!!!!

My period was late last month (started the 27th or March, ended on the 1st of April) today I started bleeding again....something told me to go to my doctor for testing and I'm pregnant! Has this happened to anyone else and everything be fine? They are testing my hcg levels again on Wednesday morning to make sure I'm not miscarrying. I've been ttc for 1 year now and my emotions are all over the place, I'm so confused and don't want to get my hopes up :( thanks in advance for any advice!
