Late period

Hi guys can I have some advise please this is my first month of the pill and I am now coming up 2 weeks late . . . But every pregnancy test I do is negative is this normal for coming of the pill? Can it take this long for your body to sort itself out? I keep getting my hopes up and then it gets taken away with the negative test :-( I just want my period to be here and over with now!
