infertility appointment what to expect

I have an appointment next week with an infirtility doctor. I was wondering if any one could give me some insight on what to expect. Especially if you are or were TTC with endometriosis. What treatment options were offered to you? Did you go straight to IVF? How expensive was it? Thank you!
