Hello. Brief back story. I have a 2 year old cat that was just fixed. She is insanely hormonal and bites me and attacks me all the time and the vet says it's because hormonally she is competing with me for my SO he believes that it should pass within a year of her being fixed. Apparently it's very commin among unfixed cats and pregnant women. So back to the real
Issue; the baby will be sharing a room with us because we are currently living with my in laws. I have a crib set up next to my bed and a changing area on his dresser in the room. Today I washed everything and set up the crib and changing area. Almost immediately she went to check it out which I let her as everything is very new. But now she sleeps in the crib and scratches at it and I've noticed multiple times that there is litter in the crib tracked in from her paws probably and a lot of cat hair. She also likes to nap on the changing table to the point where it is covered in hair. I am trying to keep her away from it as much as possible, we use the spray bottle but it only deters her for the moment. I'm worried could this hurt my baby? I'm 38 weeks and he's due any day and I want to bring him home to a safe environment.
