Extreme thirst, Gestational Diabetes?

I'm 22 weeks and will be having my glucose test soon but I was just curious if anyone had GD and had extreme thirst as a symptom? With my other two I always failed the first test and passed the second but I've never been this thirsty before! I'm drinking so much water and Gatorade and nothing is helping.

I get very very thirsty and I have GD. Could you just take your blood sugars at home and monitor for a bit?

Before I got diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I was EXTREMELY thirsty and always going to the bathroom because of it. You probably do have gestational diabetes.

I was extremely thirsty with my first. All my tests came back fine. It didn't go away after he was born so I saw my regular doctor. I was extremely vitamin d and b12 deficient. After a month of taking supplements the symptoms went away. I don't have those symptoms this time, but I'm taking extra vit d as a precaution. I also had leg cramps with my son that I don't have this time

My ex friend was like this a day before she was confirmed that she had type 2 diabetes. She also used the bathroom quite often as well.

I've heard that extreme thirst is a symptom. I never got my results from my pervious pregnancy, but my doc thinks I probably had it. And I was so thirsty all the time. I would buy a pack of waters(33) every 3 days.
