I could use the advice

So I have daughter with a guy that I spent two years with. Well a week before I was due he walked out and we broke up. Well he recently filed for custody (his parents made him because they are controlling assholes) now he wants to work things out with me to be a family and tonight we had sex and I still love him. Is it worth getting back together? He has always cheated too.. Like I mean always!
