I had sex with my bf with a condom and I take birth control but that night I couldn't take it till 2 hours after I normally do. Now I'm spotting but not regular period blood. And it's not a lot. Plus my period doesn't come for over a week. Anyone know what's up?? I don't know if I'm just overthinking it or not

I'm not very familiar with BC but just relax for now and if your period is late then take a test.

Spotting is totally normal while taking birth control! Especially if it's in the first six months or so of taking the pill. It's possible that straying from the regular schedule of taking the pill might cause it , but more likely it's just your garden variety spotting. If it become more than "a little" and lasts for a few weeks, you should ask your doc. But for the most part; it's probably nothing to worry about :)
