Fybroid by my cervix

So yesterday was a very scary day. It started with me taking a bad fall down a flight of stairs. Went straight to the ER. They immediately Put me on a monitor and did a vaginal exam. They watched me for an hour baby was moving and hb was perfect with small contractions. They then ordered an ultrasound. Still baby looks perfect no placenta abruption or anything and then out of nowhere the bad news came. It turns out I have a fybroid growing next to me cervix and slowly covering it. At the moment it's the same size as baby's head and will only continue to grow due hormones. The dr made it clear that we will now be having a scheduled c section once the time comes. Now that being said he told me that 85% of patients who have my location of fybroid growing like it appears mine is also require a hysterectomy at the time of delivery. I have my follow up appointment tomorrow morning to chat with the dr about our options but I truly am devastated. My husband and I would like to be able to have another child but it appears that won't be in our future.
