How many times do you bathe baby?

We are first time parents and when we found out that babies are supposed to be bathed 2 or 3 times a week we were a bit shocked. My mom of course said this was weird and encouraged me to bathe my baby everyday (you know how moms are). My baby loves bath time and since it calmed him down at nights we made it part of our routine everyday.... Is it bad that I'm bathing my baby every day? It helps him wind down and he loves it..... How many times are you guys bathing your baby's ? Could this be a bad thing?

My dr told me only once a week and no need to use soap yet (except shampoo). She said his skin would be too dry...

We give our baby a bath every night as part of her bedtime routine. However, we only use a mild soap on her 2-3 days per week as not to dry out her skin. On the other nights we just wash with water.

My LO is 10 weeks old now and we are bathing her every day. She loves it and helps her with her nighttime routine! I put a couple drops of organic lavender essential oil in it!

My daughter is 6 weeks and has had two baths and neither soap was used. We declined a bath at the hospital. I did put a herbal sitz bath satchel from Whole Life and Services in the bath (which is so good for mama and nice for babe)

I started bathing my baby everyday at 4 weeks to establish a consistent night time routine. She loves it and he has helped her go to sleep better.

We do it every other day. My baby LOVES the bath. She'll be a month old tomorrow. I just lotion her up really well afterwards and everything's groovy. Having a bath before bed also helps her sleep really well. You do what you think is best for your baby.

Every other day since his belly button cord came off. He's 2 months now and it's been working out pretty well. Sometimes I'll give him one on the off day if he has a major BM or spit up.
