Anyone had something similar?

I had my 20 weeks ultrasound & they told me they seen a white spot on my babys heart like the aize of a small freckle...😢 they said he could possibly have down syndrome but its not sure . They alsosaid his kidneys were alittle bigg !. I took the test today & i won't get any results for like 2 weeks. Im freaking out rn.....any1 ever been told this? My mid wife & the specialist said to bot worry about it that it only means that the percentage for down syndrome is higher & that everything els looked great but idk......

I was told that with my youngest.  They sent me to maternal fetal medicine for a more sophisticated ultrasound.  Turned out to be just a muscle.

As for the spot on the heart, yes, we went through the same thing. Our OBGYN said it honestly wasn't uncommon and that most of the time doesn't mean down syndrome. I'm 31 weeks and a few days, and our son still has a little spot on his heart. They check it every few weeks, but all tests have came back negative. He's a happy, healthy, little wiggly worm. :)

Good luck. Not so similar however getting the bloodwork done tmrw to test for Downs as well. This will be the longest 2 weeks of our pregnancy. Don't count the days, make them count.

I'm sorry I'm not of any help to you but I really hope everything with your little one is okay! I've been watching Jane the Virgin on Netflix and this happened to her in the episode I watched today 😩 try not to worry too much while you wait for the results! If something is "abnormal" atleast you have time to prepare!
