I plan on making it a point for no children at mine. Especially since I know the children that would be coming and they misbehave to the extreme and try and get constant attention. And as selfish as it is, that day is about me and my baby.

TRUST ME... You don't want the kids there... It's a adult woman/co-ed party.. That was my biggest mistake to have kids there lost of them wanted to play along the adults game with us and made everything more stressful even when we had activities for them they didn't care... NO KIDS FOR MY NEXT ONE..

Seems kind of odd to me that it's a celebration for welcoming a child, but children aren't allowed to be there. I have an 8 yo daughter myself and a lot of other kids that are close to us, so I personally couldn't say no. It does seem like more people don't allow kids to events now days though.

I just had a baby shower and I didn't write anything on the invitation since I have a 3 year old. But I wish I would've said no kids. One of my moms friends (my mom was the hostess) brought her kids and her older daughter was asking if she could play the games, If she could do this and that? And she kept making all the other kids ran around and stuff. I feel like parents don't enjoy the time there. It's better to have them enjoy it and say no kids but give them enough time to find a sitter.

I had kids at mine and it was like a mad house! Would have been much nicer if I would have been able to relax instead f constantly mediating everything going on, checking on the younger ones, yelling at the older ones. Just ugh!

It's a little hectic with kids running around. I've noticed with kids being aloud the moms to be get a little flustered bc kids were running around and screaming so I don't blame you if you say no kids aloud. I'm not having kids at mine for that reason💞 all up to you though.
