Baby's father

I don't feel like the father of my child is doing enough. I'm about 17 weeks and he has been unhelpful if he is even around at all. He's 24 and it seems our males friends who were dads at a younger age were very helpful. He hasn't done any research about pregnancy or the baby and doesn't care about prenatal care. Should I prepare to leave him? He's never home, Or are most dads to be to their FIRST child This uninvolved???????
