When to pack hospital bag?

Hello, ladies! I will be 29 weeks on Monday and I'm wondering when to pick my hospital bags? I actually work at the hospital I will be delivering at, so I plan to have my bag packed and keep in my car because I plan on working until I go into labor. So when did you have your bag packed? And what are some things you packed or didn't pack that you needed or didn't need? Thanks everyone! 😊

I had mine ready as soon as I found out the sex lol. I'm always beyond prepared

Random things I packed in my bag for my first were: note pad and paper (for notes and gifts that people bring), garbage bags for the many gifts you'll probably get, those waterless tooth brushes (preloaded ones with tooth paste) quarters for vending- however most probably take cards now, breath mints. I even had a worlds greatest dad gift for daddy! (Maybe pack him a tooth brush and fresh undies just I case it's an emergency)

I didn't pack mine till 39 weeks! I just keep a list of all the items I wanted and my husband ran around and got everything!

I didn't have it pack my bag until I was 35 weeks and installed my car seat at 36 😊 Currently 38 weeks and now I just want him out! 😊

I've been slowly packing it the last few weeks. We finished at 33 weeks and just out it in the car this weekend after a big scare on Thursday where I thought I was going to be staying in the hospital indefinitely. So it will be in the car from now on!!

My advice is to check with your hospital about what they provide. Some of what you pack will be preference because you may not care for what they give you... I.e. A hospital robe versus your own nightgown (I brought my own). I also packed my own towels and a robe, warm non skid socks, slippers, comfy clothes for the ride home, toiletries, lip balm... Check on line for some good ideas.

I usually pack mine two months before I'm due and put it in my trunk just in case.
