Dying my hair?

I really really really want to dye my hair my mom always has hers dyed red and it looks beautiful on her I know the colors I want and everything but I have asked her a million times at first she said maybe when I go to my new school and when I did there were other people with there hair dyed and now she says maybe over the summer!! I can't wait forever what should I do keep asking or what??!!
