Looking back.. if your married already? Or engaged?

How would you want to get married?  If your engaged now.. or married already... Looking back. How would you do it ?

My finace and myslef have decided to tell our family we are going to the Bahamas .. just the 2 of us to get married.  How romantic!!  Some are excited and some are pretty mad at us including my mother who is not letting up at all. My finace and I said if both mothers could afford to go .. they could. But since his mother's money is tight.. she can't afford to go... so both mom's don't come.. it's only fair..

Wouldn't change a thing about ours. Could never have the day over. Our 1 year anniversary tomorrow & I have lost both my parents since. Do what YOU want, its your day. Don't feel guilty for enjoying your life.

I wouldn't change my court wedding. I felt like spending money was frivolous since we were in the process of moving. Plus, I'd rather save for a house.

We went to Vegas but gave notice. It helped thin out how many guests we had and it was super cheap! I am a huge Elvis fan and we got married by an impersonator. We had enough to have a week long honeymoon in Jamaica. It was wonderful I wouldn't change it for the world. But everyone is different.

My husband and I eloped in vegas.... we gave everyone a 5month notice so if they could save the $ to come they were more then welcome to join.... but no one came! So we got our romantic one on one wedding that we wanted and nobodies feelings got hurt because they had the choice to fly out if they wanted too!

My mom was a little upset that she wasn't there but we got a souvenir DVD to show them when we got home... so they could still be apart n watch our wedding...

In the long run its whatever makes you n ur so happy!!

In really ambitious and want to build my own farm house and vet surgery in the country and get married in it, it'll be cheaper and beautiful in my eyes, it's my dream

We eloped at a chapel in Tennessee and rented a cabin for a couple nights, it was intimate and perfect...we also managed to save enough money to move on and neither of us would have it any other way, we needed it to be just us

We got married in our yard under a tree last Thanksgiving (Nov 28 for those not in the US) it was freezing cold and our families weren't happy BUT I wouldn't change a thing! It was our day and we did it the way we wanted to. I even wore a red cocktail dress and not a gown ?

Me and my husband married in Cyprus just me an him, it was the most perfect day ever. It's YOUR day! Do it how you want. I love the fact that only me and my husband have that special memory of our day. Makes it even more special !!
