Mother's Day

FTMs, do you know if your SOs are planning on doing something for you for Mother's Day?  My MIL just asked me if I think the baby will be here by May 8th so I would be able to celebrate the day.  Maybe I'm just being hormonal but it really made me want to cry because I already feel like a mom even if he isn't born until a week afterwards.

Of course you can celebrate Mother's Day! Your MIL probably didn't mean anything by her comment - not every pregnant woman is ready to celebrate. Here's a tip, though: Be very clear to your SO about your expectations. New holidays (especially if gifts are involved) can be tricky. :)

I seriously doubt my husband has given it any thought one way or the other. Lol. I think I'm ok either way. (My due date is a week later.)

You are a mom the moment you get pregnant! Of course you need to celebrate Mother's Day! Don't let her rude comments get to you! 😉

I'm due a week later and I won't be celebrating it myself. I will be celebrating the day with my mother and MIL and the other mothers in my life.

Celebrate it! If baby isn't here yet then go pamper yourself for Mother's Day! You've been building your baby for the last 9 months and You deserve it!It will be your last time for YOU time for a bit. Bring it up to your husband and let him know it upset you so he's on the same page as you.
