I feel bad for being mad but he has a brother who lives at home and works and dosent help pay for anything. When my husband does give her money, ( his car insurence is in her name) she gets mad because he gets behind sometimes cause hes giving her money. Btw im 20 weeks pregnant so we alse have a child on the which pisses me off even more about it.

Yes.  Cigarettes and pop are definitely NOT a priority, especially when you have a baby on the way!  $100 monthly adds up.  It'd be a different story if he was helping her with groceries or medical bills/necessities. It would also be a different story IF you weren't occasionally getting behind on your own bills.  You need to water your own grass before watering others'. His brother should be doing that since he lives there.  It's time for you to get firm and end this.

People may not agree with what I am about to say. My husband an I have moms who aren't exactly well off. Both on state, both live off the men in their lives whatever their choices. However me an my husband promised to never lend out money to our families. Especially our moms. It's not our responsibility to take care of them. We have our home, car, baby on the way, bills, an pets to take care of. I also never ask them for money. The only time we "help" them out is when it comes to our siblings who are all still in school. But we buy them things not handing cash over to our parents.

There is no penalty for canceling a car insurance policy, even if it's pre-paid. He should cancel the one in her name and get his own. That is WAY too much money, no matter what you drive.

He needs to grow up and separate himself financially from her. If he still wants to help her out, that's OK. But that's something you need to talk about after he's not obligated to give her anything.
