Wrong then but okay now?

This is more of a rant post.
When I was 15 and he was 18 we first got together after being really good friends for a year. Everyone back then called him a pedophile, but he didn't try anything until I was 18. Now that I'm 19 and he's 22 it's okay? It's annoying.

A 15 year old is a child. An 18 year old is legally an adult.

Even if he did try anything then, as long as your agreed. It doesn't make him a pedophile. You're 3 years apart.. My fiancé and I are 7, we started dating when I was 17. 
As long as you two are happy, doesn't matter what others say.

Well technically you were a minor at 15. People probably assumed your relationship was sexual and therefore was wrong (in the eyes of the law, anyway). But at 18, you're an adult. As long as both parties are adults, 3 years is nothing. It might seem like a pretty big gap now but once you hit your late 20s and above, it's really not at all.
