What do I do?

I've been with this man for a while, but he recently told me that he couldn't see a future with me because his father planted that in his head. We had an argument about it before he said he doesn't see a future with me. I told him I need time to think, so we're currently not together, but he wants to get back with me. The biggest problem with this whole situation is there's this guy who fell in love with me and he's amazing. I don't know what to do.
