My hubby and I were at nearly two and a half years of trying. Doctors couldn't find anything wrong, except a polyp that was removed. This was very difficult for us because a problem can be fixed most likely, but if you can't find the problem then there is no way to fix it. People kept telling me to relax and not try. That would just make me angrier! My cycles are regular, so I know about the time I'm ovulating. How can we not try if I KNOW the timing?! Well...God changed my cycle randomly one month, so we weren't really "trying." I unexpectedly ovulated 5 days early, which NEVER happened before. And well now....I'm 9 weeks today!I guess I'm just trying to encourage you to hang in there because it's not about your timing...it's God's. It is the most difficult thing we ever went through, but we are both stronger and more ready now. I will keep you all in prayer tonight. ππΌπΌπ
So what's everyone's story?

We've all been trying for over a year... What stage are you in treatment wise? I just started going to my dr back in July. I had some bloodwork done and an hsg test. My husband had a semen analysis. Everything so far has come back normal. It's just not our time yet for some reason!? I ovulate and have normal cycles.
What about you guys? Any known issues you're dealing with?

So I am 23 years old, SO is 26 and I have not been to my doctor about trying for 14 months yet. I do have a gyno appointment next month and I want to get some tests done to see if everything is ok. I have irregular periods but they have never longer than 40 day cycles. SO is going to get semen checked as well. I'm just concerned because I am so young that someone trying around my age should be pregnant in 5 months. SO and I are both very healthy at healthy weights and we eat right and rarely drink. We take vitamins and just have an overall healthy lifestyle so I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet. Last month was the first month we started really trying; I used an opk, temped and used preseed.. Still no luck :( but we're going to try everything again this month and then I'll talk to my doctor about it next month. So we'll see what happens.

I stopped taking birth control Feb last year a few months after my husband and I started dating, we went to middle school & HS together. Got married 4/14/14. Neither have kids. Cycles seemed normal shortly after stopping The pill. I'm not sure if I ovulate regularly, I've taken ovul. Tests but get confused.. Finally went to doc 2 weeks ago. She ran labs and wanted me to do lab to see if I ovulate ut couldn't make it this month :-/ my husband doesn't want to do the semen analysis because he doesn't masterbate often so that's very frustrating. Found out my Vit D is very low & I may be hypoglycemic. Overall just starting to get frustrated. Everyone ingrains it into your head that you need to take birth control the same time every day and year I am over a year late with no baby.......

This is refreshing. My vitamin D levels were 14 on a scale of 30-90. I've been taking 50,000 units of vitamin D for 6 months. I'm just now at 30. π€¦π»ββοΈ hopefully this is the reason. We're doing our second month of assisted fertility with timed intercourse. π€πΌπ€πΌπ€πΌ

I tried for 7 months with no luck and saw a specialist and found out my vitamin D was really low too. I started to take supplements and got pregnant the next two cycles! It was also after an hsg, but I've read a lot about vitamin D deficiency and infertility! So this is one cycle past loss and we're still trying but now we're both still taking vitamin d! Hopefully yours is a simple issue!! Good luck!

I've had 2 abdominal myomectomy surgeries for massive uterine fibroids...one in 2012 and my second in May of last year. We began ttc a year ago (which was suggested by my doc after my surgery) with no luck at all! I just got a contact for a fertility specialist and plan to go after my cycle this month (which is currently late so fingers crossed maybe I won't need to).

My husband (35) and I (30) have been trying since June 2014. We have been married since April 2013 and been together since April 2008. We haven't had any luck yet. We just went to the (in)fertility doctor last week for the first time. SO is doing blood work and SA this week. I will get/schedule my day 3 blood work done later this week once AF fully shows up. So HSG test next week. I deal with anxiety and depression, this has all been really hard on me. I started seeing a therapist at the end of May.

Well I took out Mirena 1/2014, and my period never returned. I went to the doctor six months after that and determined that I have a thyroid problem and a fibroid, but he said the fibroid would be fine, and it wouldn't interfere with pregnancy. He also prescribed levothyroxine and clomid to help me ovulate since my cycle never came back. After 4 cycles and no bfp, we decided to just let it be and let the hormones just normalize by themselves. Well, that didn't work, and I still wasn't getting my cycles, (although the levothyroxine helped me lose 50 pounds!) and by this point we had moved. So, I found a new gyno, and went in, told her my story, and she wanted to do an ultrasound to check on my fibroid. Well all the hormones from clomid grew my fibroid into a 14cm monster, with 5 more fibroids ranging from 2 to 9 cm. I went in May 22, 2015 and had them all removed. They also found a cyst on my ovary and endometriosis. They took care of everything and like clockwork, my period returned a few days ago. I am so hesitantly hopeful that this is our ticket. I have quite literally watched my best friends steal all my baby ideas and complete their families. Pampers commercials make me cry. I just want us to have a child so bad.
