How Important is sex to you in a relationship?

My boyfriend and I have been dating for almost 6 months now and in the beginning we didn't have sex but we'd sext and it was amazing (like all the honeymoon stages are) and then once we got further into our relationship we had sex for the first time, and we'd try to have sex whenever we get the chance (he's always saying how sex isn't what matters - which i appreciate) but lately, he just hasn't even shown any interest in me and we haven't had sex in over a month... Maybe I'm exaggerating but it's kinda making me feel unwanted, unloved, and jist not attractive... So without judgement, I just want everyone's opinion on this topic...
