Which birth control is best?

I had the implant in for nearly a year but had to get removed due to bleeding for over a month.
Looking for new birth control that I don't have to be worried about taking everyday. And also one I don't have to worry about using condoms with my partner, I'm thinking the depo shot or the patch? Any info be best thank you.

Seeing that you have used the implant before, these are your options:

- Pill (combination and mini-pill)
- Nuvaring
- Patch
- IUD (hormonal and non-hormonal)

Between the patch and Depo, I would choose the patch personally, as Depo can have a lot of nasty side effects, and because the hormones in it act like a steroid, the shot binds to body fat, so even if you don't get your next shot, you can experience side effects for a while after. Other methods, the hormones leave your body after 24 hours or a few days.

Long term use if the shot has been linked to issues with fertility long after, and most doctors won't let you use it for more than 2 years.
