Due date?

Is anyone else getting different due dates? My first appointment they said the baby's due date was Oct. 20, 2016. Now they're saying it's Oct. 14, 2016. When I asked them which due date they're going to go by they said it really doesn't matter since its only a week's difference. I just want a healthy baby but I keep hearing that it's best to have a set date to track the baby.

The changes in due date could be because your baby's growth rate changed slightly from initial measurements, or as already mentioned, your LMP due date is typically not the most accurate and more accurate due dates can be assessed as pregnancy progresses. I plan to follow whatever the most current projected due date is, since they will be based on my baby's current size and observed growth rate.

Yes! My due date changed from Oct 19th to Oct 28th. I'm going by the later due date just because I'd rather not get induced later on just in case. The 28th is measuring the size of my baby , and the 19th was from my LMS so I feel my comfortable about going off the size.

My due date went from May 15 to May 5 to April 26
I was told the same that it doesn't matter 
So dr believes baby will come before just doesn't know exactly when my son is measuring one week ahead

The most reliable due date is the one you are given with the first trimester ultrasound.  They usually won't change it unless it's more than a week off from your date by your last period. This always seems to be a confusing issue. I did IVF and know the exact date of conception but my OB put my LMP in wrong so they are going by an inaccurate date. I stick to when I know I am due.
