Pregnant with twins. When can I stop work?!

I am almost 18 weeks pregnant with twins and I have a 2 year old already. I work a 35 hour a week desk job and am already feeling beyond exhausted. I would love to stop working so I can laze in bed all day but I realize that's unrealistic. When were you able to tell your work that you'd had it and had a doctor's note to back you up?

I left work at about 20wks. I am having twins as well. The doctor gladly wrote me the note to go on sick leave and it doesn't affect my mat leave. Mind you my work was demanding and was on my feet for hours at a time....I work as a Educational Assistance which takes a lot of energy.

I plan on working until I go into labor. I'm 17 weeks with twins and don't see stopping any time soon. I do have the option to work from home occasionally but I don't plan on using that extensively unless I'm out on bed rest. 
I would keep in mind FMLA only covers 12 weeks of leave related to pregnancy. So if you leave early to rest, you may not have as much time after the babies are born.

I'm having triplets and I'll be 18 weeks when school gets out for the summer (I'm a teacher). I usually teach summer school, it's only 3 days a week for three hours a day and I'm going to try it......I'm not due until November but I'll be lucky to make it to October. I'm thinking I won't be able to come back in September but only time will tell!
