Positive ovulation test!!!!

Today is the first day I have ever gotten a positive test and I also happen to have a pretty nasty and not so sexy head cold. Does being sick mess with your chances of getting pregnant even if you are at peak fertility? Also any advice on how to convince the husband to get down despite me being possible infectious? Haha!
