Hot showers?!

Help!! I take pretty hot showers for 10-15 min, and just found out today that is a no-no.... I'm just under 5 weeks. Should I be worried?

I actually just asked my doctor about this last week. She said the risk is in raising your body temperature too high. You don't want your core body temperature to be over 102 (if I remember correctly). Basically my doc said hot showers are fine as long as I don't spend an hour in there, keep the door open so the heat doesn't build up in the room, and immediately get out if I get dizzy or nauseous.

I think mostly you just don't want to elevate your body temp too much, that's why you don't want to sit in a hut tub or soak in a very hot bath. As long as you're not feeling overheated, a hot shower should be fine. Check with your doctor if you're really concerned.

I'm not a medical expert but I thought it was very hot baths you mustn't have. I took hot showers while pregnant with my daughter and am doing the same this time. I also am 5 weeks
