Does sex really induced labor??? How true is this?

I'm 34 weeks pregnant and I've been really horny lately and all I want is to have sex .. I'm just scared that is going to induce my labor faster ... Help?

Just be gentle, me and my husband did it last week at 33 weeks and I started having contractions only two hours later and went to labor and delivery and was 3 cm .. They had to stop my contractions and I had to go to my doctor and she told us not to have sex until next week cause at 35 weeks they don't stop labor .. So just be gentle if you do !!

I don't know any statistics or anything but I can say with my first pregnancy I had sex and an hr later my water broke . It could be all a coincidence but it worked for me .

If you are having a normal pregnancy with no preterm labor and are not high risk- sex is completely safe up until your water breaks. It will not cause anything that your body was not already preparing for on its own.
