How long will you wait to have another baby?

I just delivered my first son on 4/8/16. I already want another one! Is this just a honeymoon phase? How long will you wait to have another child?

I have 4 daughters all 13 or 18 months apart. They are very close to each other.

Those first days seem super easy if you have a sleepy baby.  Most doctors recommend waiting 18 months to TTC so your body has a chance to recover and build up nutrients again. Closely spaced pregnancies have a higher risk of preterm birth, low birthweight, and maternal complications. Becoming pregnant while exclusively breastfeeding is difficult because our bodies are designed to space children out to a safe interval.

My lo was born Nov. 2015 and we're gonna start ttc in Aug. of this year. It took us 8 months the first time so I want to start sooner then later especially since I'll be 35 in July.

My son was 10 months old when I got pregnant while BF. I'm glad to have babies close together. I come from a family with 3 girls and we are all 5 1/2 years apart. I love my sisters however my mom has told me that she wishes we were all closer as it washard having us all so far apart.

I think at least a year. I'll be 32 when I give birth and I'd like to try to have our second before I hit 35. If we wait a year after baby #1, I'll be 33 when we start TTC again and (God-willing) 33 or 34 when I deliver our second.

18-24 months seems like a good gap. I remember feeling like that after I had my son, but it definitely changes, at least for me. I just missed being pregnant!
We waited until our first was 4. He'll almost be 5 by the time the babies get here and will be a huge helper! He loves babies so much already!!

My LO was born in September 2015. We planned to wait till summer or fall to ttc again. Well I'm 11 weeks today. Due in November! So we waited 5  months. Haha.

We'd love them to be two years apart... So we'll prob start trying again a year after our first babe is born :)
