Is it normal to be worried about miscarriage at 5 week?

I am so scared I'm going to miscarry this baby.  this is pregnancy number 1 for me but I'm analysing everything, including every little twinge! I can't find any statistics on miscarriage in the first trimester, and what I do find contradicts everything I've read prior! If any of you ladies can offer any advice that would be great!!

I wouldn't worry to much about it. If it's going to happen there's nothing that can prevent it. I miscarried my first pregnancy and it was horrible. Never thought it would happen. I would try to enjoy the pregnancy instead of worrying. I know it's easier said than done. But once I realized I couldn't prevent it from happening I've been fine and with my second pregnancy baby is fine and growing great! Congrats to you!

I'm 26 weeks with baby#3 and I STILL worry about every ache pain twinge. My youngest is 12 so this time around its like being pregnant for the first time. I may just be super paranoid, but don't stress yourself out all will be ok.

Don't spend your time with this pregnancy being worried hun, enjoy the time you have with this child... doesn't matter if you did happen to miscarry or you don't part with your child until you die at an old age! Take a breath, because you don't have much control over what happens. ANYTHING can happen. A plane can crash and hit you. You understand what I'm trying to say? Let yourself be excited about this life growing inside you and embrace this special time, you won't have it again♡♡♡ I know it's scary, I had a miscarriage before this pregnancy. But your worries won't help anything :) congratulations sweet mama!

There is always a risk of miscarriage. And there really is nothing you can do about it especially in the first trimester. However, taking care of yourself, being healthy, and not stressing will help. Most doctors say that once you hit 12 weeks you are in a much better spot. It's normal to worry but try to just enjoy this time.
