Infertility, PCOS...Metformin

We are TTC after 30, I'm 31 and I have a long crazy history with PCOS, since 2010. I was unaware that it causes infertility because your body or not ovulate, until last week. My husband and I have been TTC since Oct with no luck. Last week I went to the Dr because I was sick, bronchitis. I simply stated that we were TTC, because I could have been pregnant and didn't want any meds that could be harmful to the baby. She just mentioned that it was important for me to take metformin because it reverses infertility caused by PCOS. I was shocked😯 I've had metformin since forever, but I just never took because I really hate talking pills😑. If I had been taking it, we may have conceived by now. It's crazy how things happen. I went to the doctor for wheezing and couching and may have possibly for the reason why we haven't been able to make a baby. God is amazing, I know all things work in his time!!! My cycle is coming😩, but at least I can have more hope next month😄

Does anyone have success stories with metformin and conceiving?
