IUD/Mirena Question

Is anyone currently using Mirena or has anyone used it in the past for birth control? I've had mine in for 10 months now. I've had a milder version of my regular periods ever since having it put in despite being told I wouldn't have one. I've also had cramping for the majority of the 10 months I've had it. This month is different though. No period. No cramps. Nothing. Anyone experience this or similar??
