Blood test?

Did you all get blood tests to confirm pregnancy or just go off of your test at home? I have been testing every other day and my line keeps getting darker but wondering if I should do a blood test? I just moved so I don't have a primary doc yet

I definitely went to doc for hcg levels and progesterone levels and its all good. Its jus  to be sure. And for me seeing it on paper made me feel better

I ordered a HCG test online and went to a local lab to have my blood drawn... I couldn't wait another 3 weeks to know for sure when everyone was talking about their HCG levels. I used request a test .com and it was pretty cheap!... Make sure you get the quantitative tho!! Not the qualitative...

I tend to almost pass out when I get blood drawn, so my PCP said we could skip that for now. My urine test in the office turned positive in seconds, so he wasn't concerned. I'd like to minimize the inevitable blood tests.

The receptionist at my obgyn said that the home tests are pretty accurate and wouldn't schedule me for a blood confirmation. So I called my family doc and they said I could come down anytime. So I've had it checked at 4w and 4w3d just to put my mind at ease.

I just went and got confirmation from my Dr with a blood test that way you know for definite.

My midwife is going off my home test at moment the moment I go to doctors it's all on and I refuse to have blood tests and be degraded by the specialist with beady lil eyes untill i see that heart beat ( I'm type one diabetic and day and 4 days after implantation happened my bloods sky  rocketed ) he will go nuts for those readings

I'm in the same boat - my doctor said that home pregnancy tests are really accurate and a blood test isn't needed. I don't go in until I'm 10 weeks and I'm only 4w2d 😞 I was looking for places that did ultrasounds early but can't find any!

After I got my positive test (after 2 years of trying!) I called my doctor and had a confirmation appointment. They just did a urine test at 4w5d and she asked if I had any questions and went over a few need to know things. I have my first ultrasound at 6w5d this coming Thursday and then my first real prenatal appointment at 8w5d and that's when I get my blood work done.

Took pregnancy test last Sunday with a very faint line. Then went to the doctor Monday and confirmed pregnancy with blood test.
