I was prescribed yaz, luckily before i started i did my research and found it's one of the worst brands - people are trying to shut down the company who makes them! Good luck sweet x

There are many more pill options than that. If you're worried about your own safety I would talk to your doctor about the getting the pill with the lowest hormone dosage that would still be effective. That's what I did because my doctor said it was safest and still very effective. It still made my period regulate, cleared up a lot of my acne, way less cramping, no weight gain (except in my boobs!), and oh yeah NO BABIES (I'm the worst and I hardly ever use protection with my bf. Terrible I know). But remember everyone is different. If this is your first time don't be surprised if you have to do a couple different ones to figure out what works for you best.

You don't get to choose the specific pill brand you take, your doctor just prescribes you one. Also Yasmin and Yaz are the same pill just two different brands.

That said, unless you can remember to take a pill at the same time every day which is not easy to do, I would recommend the Nuva ring.

i prefer the depo shot over anything else ive tried. i hate shots but the needle is so tiny i dont even feel it
