Is it bad to have my baby shower may 15th when im due august 1st ?

I'm due August 20th and having mine June 12, so I'll be around 7 months as well. I'm doing it early for the same reason you are. And It's going to be hot and I'm gonna be huge and tired and sweaty. Not going to wait longer because people are weird. (I've had people complain it wasn't later also) do what makes YOU Happy. It's your shower

However, our church, my aunt and cousins and his family are all holding separate ones for us so there's going to be at least two that are later in the pregnancy
