Worried for nothing

So I basically wanted to share my great birth story for all of those mommies that are freaking out. I have to say for me and my situation I worried myself sick for no reason. I was a week late and so my doctor wanted me induced. I was already 3cm and 80%effaced but not budging...even after a sweep. So I went in and got hooked up and kind of got to know all the nurses (rather enjoyable for the first few hours). I finally got hooked up to oxytocin and even at that the contractions weren't that bad. They decided to break my water and that's when things got rolling. I tried to tough it out for a few hours but, I was in agony so I got the epidural. I was 6cm when I got that. They turned me to my other side and no sooner than they did that I told them I had to push. It was more painful trying not to than actually pushing(pushing actually made me feel better). I pushed for an hour and a half and at 3:24 our angel was born. I had a tiny tear on the inside and that was it. I feel very blessed and I also want women to see positive birth stories. I went in with no birth plan because I figured if something didn't go the way I wanted it to I would stress out anyway so I didn't even bother. All I wanted was a healthy baby and mama💗

This is my 7.8lb little girl and she is her mommy and daddy's world.
